DJ Volcanik is exactly what their name states- a DJ that keeps the ground shaking with their great selection of music while making any event look HOT with their professional lighting design, customized monograms, updated speaker and music technology. As a wedding planner, I have had the opportunity to work with DJ Volcanik in the past. Having seen their professionalism, trained staff, promptness, calmness, organization, and most importantly, completely catering to the client's needs, I knew I had to hire them for my own wedding. There was not a single glitch in my entire wedding event. Their moving van for the baarat and music selection was perfect with a clear and great sound system that kept the groom's side on their feet upon arrival to the venue. As a Gujurati girl getting married to a Punjabi guy, DJ Volcanik had the perfect mix of music to cater to both sides for the baarat, morning wedding and reception. From Buddha lounge music for the cocktail hour, to 80's music to kick off the reception, to the latest bhangra songs, to slow songs during dinner to club music to get people back on the floor, to mixing music for smooth transition during songs..it was just flawless!! While Ashish is fantastic at music selection and ensures smoothness of the event, Hemant was the perfect MC with a loud and clear voice who kept the crowd excited and wanting more! These guys really know what they are doing. Don't be fooled by their laid-back and calm attitude, it's just a confidence level that is gained from doing tons of weddings the best way possible. My wedding was on March 28th, 2010 and I'm still getting compliments about how great the uplights, music and flow of the morning wedding and evening reception was, even two weeks later. It's the little things they pay attention to that make all the difference. For example, my sister was giving a speech and was holding the microphone too low. Hemant did a casual walk by signaling her to hold the mic higher. Another example, I had told Ashish I wanted my monogram light revolving on the dance floor but instead he had it revolving in an even better location where everyone could see it on the high wall. Just give them the songs you want along with the breakdown of the timings throughout the day and trust me, you will be in great hands. Music and lighting can make or break any event...and DJ Volcanik certainly made our wedding a great one. You know the music and ambience is great when you have your 68-year old relative with a weak knee on the dancefloor. My husband and I want to give an extra special thanks to DJ Volcanik for accepting and making all the last minute music and lighting changes just the day before our wedding. Keep up the great work!!

We just wanted to say Thank You for helping us make our wedding at the Midtown Loft in New York City a special and fun-filled event. Everyone we have talked to loved the music and it was amazing to see even our non-dancing friends and family break it down on the dance floor. The music for the ceremony, entry/exits, first dance, etc. were all perfectly timed and sounded great. After seeing your work at Nitin and Lisa's wedding we didn't have to think twice about who would DJ our wedding and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. You made our lives easier during the planning process by helping with the timelines and making the actual planning, contracts/deposits process very easy. It was one less moving part that we needed to worry about. Every time we thought a song we wanted to use would be too hard to find you either had it or were able to procure it for us. And when it finally came to the big day you worked with the venue to set things up without any hassle while other vendors were calling us all day to coordinate even the smallest detail. The final set up sounded great and looked great, the uplights and the monogram were a nice touch. We will highly recommend you to our family and friends and are happy to serve as a reference if need be.

From the engagement party to the garba, wedding, and of course the destination reception in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, Hemant and Ashish have been easy to work with every step of the way. Three things that stand out are: 1) EVERYONE had a blast at the garba and the versatility he added to the garba program is something most people had never seen before. Even the aunties that doubted they could have fun at a garba without a live band commented on how much more fun it was with DJ Volcanik. 2) The reception was so much fun and it would not have been the same without their services. Hemant went above and beyond what we would have expected, most memorably he constantly reached out the resort to make sure the equipment they had would be compatible and sufficient for our reception. He called the resort more than we did throughout the planning process and the most amazing part is that he reached out to the resort even before we signed him to make sure he could deliver the type of reception entertainment he knew we would expected from him. Lastly, 3) When we told him we wanted a particular brides entrance song he contacted the artist and obtained a clean copy.

For anyone considering a DJ for a garba, wedding and reception I would highly recommend DJ Volcanik for the full entertainment package they offer from the bharat van, lighting, and experienced garba DJing. They listen to your needs and deliver on the promises.

This letter is a little overdue, but here it is nonetheless. I cannot thank you and your team enough for making our wedding exceptional. It's been a couple of months and our friends and family still cant stop talking about the amount of fun they had! Not only did you guys do an amazing job, you handled unforeseen issues exceptionally. There are many weddings we have been too but you guys by far take the cake in the entertainment department. I almost wish I could get married again and hire you all over again. Honestly speaking, before choosing volcanic entertainment for our wedding, we met bunch of other DJs but you guys really impressed us in the first meeting and offered the package that fitted perfectly for our budget for DJ. At least once a month I end up filing some sort of complaint, whether it is with a hotel, cable company, airline, spa, or cell phone provider. Today alone I have written to two people involved in our wedding to ask them what their problem is.

This letter marks the first time I am writing to say thank you. You did an amazing job at our wedding last weekend. You were very energetic. The music was awesome. It was a good blend of bhangra, 80's, and hip hop, which is exactly what we asked for. A lot of our friends have already told us that they had to drop off their reception clothes at the dry cleaners since they were so hot after dancing non-stop all night. We still had a huge number of people on the dancefloor at 2am so that should tell you something.

For people who are looking for a deejay but don't know much about the process (like me), you are a great resource. I appreciated that you were always available to offer music suggestions, ideas, and information on how to organize a reception. Also, unlike many professionals involved with our wedding, you were on time!

You pulled through for us on the night that mattered most. We will definitely use you again and refer you to others. Thanks again for doing such a great job.

Thank you so much for not only the wonderful job at the wedding and reception, but just the overall experience. Safe to say you guys were the most reliable and easiest vendor to deal with! From the beginning we were impressed with the options you had and are happy we used things like the gobo because our guests noticed the details. Also, we wanted to say thank you for putting the pink accent lights out during the reception. You noticed they matched the décor and knew they would add a little something special and they did! Even prior to the wedding day your attention and service were exceptional. All your music suggestions and other ideas were great and extremely helpful. We appreciate the time you spent with us going over the agenda and how you went the extra mile to help us get the soundboard for the guitar performance and third projector for the slide show. While there were multiple factors we were hoping would go okay on the big day, your performance was never a concern. As we went through our pictures and wedding video, we saw our guests dancing all night and having a great time. We had relatives tell us a month after the wedding on how impressed they were with your work. We loved the music at our reception! It was a great mix of contemporary and classic American and Hindi music. There was plenty of variety - including romantic slow dances, disco, pop, hindi remix and hip hop. Hemant cultivated a festive mood and kept a steady flow of people on the dance floor. Just as important, Hemant is organized, kept everything moving in a timely manner and efficiently transitioned each event, from wedding to cocktail hour to reception. Finally, Hemant's easygoing manner and experience put us at ease from the very beginning - planning our wedding and reception with Hemant was by far the easiest part of our wedding planning!

How are you? I apologize for not writing you or keeping in touch since the wedding. I gotta admit, you guys were outstanding. Hands down, THE BEST Djs ever at a wedding.   Thank you so much for making our wedding/reception so memorable. After all those long phone conversations about what songs to play when and all the tiny details you paid so close attention to truly paid off. Volcanik Entertainment was amazing! I had them for my engagement, garba, and wedding. They were so good that we're having them again for my brother's engagement party. I'd have to say that the best thing I liked about them was their choice of music. They knew exactly what to play at the right time. The music was so good that we had all the adults dancing as well. We would like to thank Ashish and his group for making our wedding a success. One concern that we had was that Ashish had never been to our wedding venue in Philadelphia before. However he took the time to visit the location to plan where equipment would go and to make sure he had everything he needed for that day.
